Mission Custom

Mission Custom finally became a reality in 2018 after modifying our first 2006 TJ into a pink, sparkly, lifted Jeep for our daughter.

We had several friends with Jeeps who saw ours and wanted upgrades to theirs, too. We started doing mods in our garage and now three years later realized we needed our own shop if we wanted to continue to grow.

How it Began

The name Mission Custom came to be because of our passion for the missions we support like Soles for Jesus, Compassion International, Fort Wilderness Ministries, and our local church. 10% of our profits go towards these and other local and global missions that we support.

Steve graduated from Midstate Technical College with a degree in Autobody Repair and Paint in 1994 and worked in the industry for 10 years before going into sales and then returning to college to obtain his accounting degree from UW-Whitewater. He continued to work on cars here and there but didn’t realize how much he missed the hands-on body and paintwork.

Becky is a physical therapist and runs the physical therapist assistant program at Bryant & Stratton College. She too shares a love for Jeeps and helps Steve out at the shop on weekends.

Joey, their son, attends Grand Canyon University and is majoring in business with an emphasis on analytics. He is the marketing director and graphic artist for Mission Custom and does everything from logo and website design to social media marketing and creative design for the Jeeps we modify.

Emily, their daughter, drives the pink Jeep you may see around town and of course takes care of the shop dog, Dakota.
